(Expression) Rude, insulting.
Usage: In the 1988 Quayle-Bentsen Vice Presidential Debate, Quayle claimed he was JFK's equal - because they had both been senators and congressmen. US Senator Bentsen (sneeringly): "You're no Jack Kennedy ... ." Quayle (when the loud and prolonged applause had died down): "That was really uncalled for... ." Bentsen: "You are the one that was making the comparison, Senator ... ."
